Projects

Blinky Learner Soldering Kit

Project kits designed and manufactured for CPP Hyperloop. Designed for students new to soldering. Contains an array of buttons and LEDs, also a blinking LED circuit controlled by a 555 timer IC chip. Renovated kit for educational use available on the loklokfafa store starting from $24.99.

Pocket Breadboard

Designed a product to solve a simple requirement constraint. Students are required to purchase large, full-sized breadboards that are expensive and difficult to carry around. Pocket Breadboard is designed to mitigate this issue and provide a simple and portable circuit prototype solution, starting from $14.99.

Programmable Macro Board

This is a product which started as a gift for a friend, and evolved into a journey of learning to manufacture items. The macro board is capable of acting as an external controller to a computer. The project has been used to teach a workshop on Arduino programming. Available on the loklokfafa store starting from $49.99.

BANSHEE UAV

Performing research and development on the newest drone endurance technology. Created SpaceCadet, a powerful drone capable of flying at high speeds. Developed algorithms within the scope of computer vision for the drone to detect a ground control station and autonomously land to replenish its resources.

Nerf Chrono

Developing measurement devices to poll high speed objects. Optimizing a low price while maintaining accuracy of dart velocity through microcontroller programming and sensitive sensors. Constructed a working prototype on a breadboard, currently optimizing size to fit all circuity inside a small volume.

ROBOTIS Collaboration

Designed an autonomous label robot for the efficient procedure of labeling boxes. Introduction project to computer vision and image filtering algorithms. Developed accuracy measures, such as the homography algorithm, to correct artifacts in image and precisely map coordinates to a final location.

CPP Hyperloop

A development into high speed transportation using an I-beam track, autonomous correction systems, feedback loops, and power failsafes. A collaborative project in with the talented engineers at CPP. The manufacturing of the 1-foot pod provides a scale-up feasibility in which the project itself has a wide-scale application to the modern world.

Neuron Racer

This may seem like a normal line-following car, but the cars themselves are controlled by a player's mind. The technology for this project and algorithms developed are inspired by the progress from Project Wake and have been adapted for a broader audience. This was a project developed for the annual Engineering Open House event at my high school to encourage younger students to gain an interest in engineering.

Project WAKE

This project was my entry into project development; this creation acted as a prevention mechanism for narcoleptic behavior. A headset measuring EEG waves from a user is processed by an Arduino and the resulting data is parsed with an algorithm to predict a sudden onset of sleepiness. A case study was developed and funding was generated to produce a prototype of the system.
